We have launched a national survey to understand how people across our country give and what makes giving easier - or more difficult.
Whether you donate, volunteer, give koha, support whānau, or don’t currently give at all, your experience matters. By taking part, you’ll help build a clearer picture of generosity in Aotearoa New Zealand and help us strengthen support for communities in the years ahead.

This survey is for anyone aged 15 or older living in Aotearoa New Zealand. We’re keen to hear from people who donate to charities or community groups, volunteer their time, support whānau, neighbours, or friends, give koha or support marae, are asked to give, have thoughts about structured giving including gifts in wills, or even those who don’t currently give and want to share why.
To truly reflect Aotearoa New Zealand, we need to hear from people of different ages and from different cultures, life experiences and regions. There are no right or wrong answers, we want to hear your honest perspective.
Participation in the survey is completely voluntary and anonymous. You won’t be asked for identifying information, and all responses are combined so they can’t be linked back to you. The survey takes around 10 minutes to complete and works on any device.
